Hey! I got the CAS TO… anxiously waiting ugh… wish we could know sooner. Is it pretty much guaranteed if you meet the requirements? The application made it feel like that since it was super short and no essays.

Anyone see updates to FinAid portal? Mine was just processed today, can I take this as a good sign? I know that’s traditionally an early sign of acceptance.
Yes! There was an update on the financial aid page for my daughter. We need to upload our tax documents. Will do so tonight. 
What does it say on the portal for your documents, “Processing”? or something else?
Processing when it previously said something like submitted.
How do I access the financial aid portal? Didn’t know it was separate to the main one…

Look up “cornell financial aid status” on the internet and it should be there and you should be able to login.

Click on this and scroll down to the red box labeled with “Access Your Financial Aid Status.” Click on that and log in.

I also received a notification from IDOC and now it says that the documents are processing from Cornell. When calling the financial aid office to confirm they gave a student ID number different from the one from the application reference number. Does everyone get a student ID number that applied?

All of my documents are processing now as well. There are two different ID numbers for each applicant, a reference number given by Cornell and a CBFINAID ID for IDOC.

If financial aid requests signed documents from IDOC is that typically a good sign?

Hi everyone, I have applied to transfer to ILR. I did not have a TO, just applying for the traditional transfer route. Any other ILR hopefuls out there? Good luck to all!

hello, i got a TO! however, I’m considering another college w/ a completely diff major bc its way higher ranked. does anyone know if I can take some of the courses at a local community college bc it might not have some of my req?
when did u submit ur CSS? Because I submitted mine on past deadline and I didn’t receive any notification from them.
Yes, you can take required classes at a community college and still exercise the transfer option in a year.
