For general transfer info purposes- does anyone know if I could check off a course requirement using community college credits I received as a high school student or must a credit be received after high school graduation?

If you are asking about Cornell specifically, there is a process to find out if you can get credit for courses taken elsewhere. A class from community college would probably not be sufficient for credit at Cornell, but you will have to check with your advisor at Cornell and fill out some forms. As an example, here are the general guidelines for CAS(each college has their own guidelines):

Thank you! I will have to email them about if community college credits are sufficient as I am not a current student. I really hope so, because it’s going to be impossible to fit so many courses to my first year.
