A friends son got a letter of continued interest 2 days ago and there was a question, asking if he would take the 1 yr transfer if offered. The letter also said they are moving the waitlist on Thursday .
It was the last Thursday of the month: June 27th. Same drill with the checklists disappearing in the morning and then decisions rolling out after 2pm EST. At that point, you’re either offered a TO or rejected. If you’ve applied to COE, there is no transfer option offered.
It’s pretty much guaranteed that if you meet the requirements set forth by the school, you will be admitted as a sophomore transfer. Someone will likely post that there was an incident a few years ago where students were denied admission despite meeting requirements. It supposedly had something to do with housing shortage.
I’ve done as much research as possible on this and cannot find anything substantial that supports students being rejected despite meeting all the requirements. I would bet my paycheck that if you met the requirements, you will be accepted.

Congrats! I haven’t gotten an update yet so what was that about unless they’re still rolling out. I don’t want to get my hopes up in case nothing comes of it.

Congrats! No update on my end.
What disappeared for me was the “Application Checklist” showing when they’ve received the application, transcript, recommendations, etc. I still see the Waitlist Form though.

We heard that someone got off the waitlist in August last year, but it might also depend on the school or the major you applied to
