I’m going to try to make this my last post, cause I’ve said what I said, stood by it, and basically watched much of it come to pass:

dontno, you are not black and you are far from a mouthpiece for any black person in America. Therefore, what view point do you come from outside of the bigoted white person’s view point? You are not the determiner of what black people’s problems or issues are. That means that high-minded commentary about black people coming from the likes of you isn’t acceptable, period. Opinions and statements about an ethnic group that are true, have some truth, or are debatable – but spoken without a hateful, controversial agenda are always open for some healthy “discourse” as you call it. But coming from a Skip Bayless, Rush Limbaugh, Bill O’Reilly type will never work, and black people aren’t gonna respond the way you think. Start pointing fingers at whatever race you are instead of being a nemesis to blacks, cause today, people who think like you are licking their wounds.

By the way, I speak from the inside out, and the outside in. I’m a black male from a lower-middle class background, lived among blacks all my life, gone to school with, currently go to school with, and am close friends with people of many different ethnic backgrounds, tutored and written newsletters for my community to address issues and concerns, and experienced life as a black male for long enough to speak from an objective and subjective view point about race. So thank you, no for your opinion and your assessment of blacks when it’s spoken from that blighted, bigoted viewpoint. When black people become your problem in this world, other than the fact that you don’t like what you see in them, then maybe your opinion will be considered on the subject.

ResurgemBell, it’s a bit foolish to suggest that, although this is a monumental moment in American history, that blacks aren’t feeling this in a different, special and unique way. Nobody’s being selfish with Barack, but please, there is a part of this that affects blacks exclusively. I don’t know what color your skin is, but arguing that Barack being black doesn’t matter tells me exactly what color your skin is not.
