As I tenured professor at THE Ohio State University, I’m personally offended that main campus is listed in Athens, OH. That’s OU, folks!

@skieurope id like to add the following.
I’m a proud Ohio University alum. It looks like the listing incorrectly lists the Ohio State University (Columbus main campus) but the info provided in it is about Ohio University (main campus in Athens). The narrative actually is conflating the two universities which are NOT the same place at all.
@Claire_027 would you agree that this description is about OU, and not tOSU?

I noticed the links and some of the info refers to OU. I did not cross check them all, but forwarded to those who actually created the page and collect a salary.

Yikes! That’s on me. It’s an error in a database table that I was using to link about pages on CC to school data in IPEDS. I fixed the error and posted a corrected version:
As a consolation prize, this is the first page that uses the updated IPEDS admission data that was released on Dec. 5. Please let me know if you see any other errors or discrepancies.

@CC_Jon could you put the descriptive information about Ohio University (which is in Athens) on the Ohio University page, please. There is no descriptive info like this there. I do believe that what you had posted under tOSU was descriptive of Ohio University! Except where you put Ohio State instead of Ohio University!

Ah. Yes that’s another manifestation of the same bug and I run the update on Ohio University just now using the latest IPEDS data.
No worries. It’s just a rivalry thing.
