Just fyi - Walmart still does photo cakes. We got one weekend before last for GF/S. It was a double birthday plus a congrats engagement cake. We used one of the pictures they sent us during the proposal.

I’ve never even heard or seen the mac and cheese that is supposedly Ohio’s favorite product.

Here’s the pic of the “favorite products”

The Woozoo fan is great (on sale now I think?) and we regularly buy the syrup, berries, sometimes the TP, and if that’s the plastic wrap that has the nice tear bar thing it’s totally worthwhile. I’ve had a bag of the Reese’s dipped animal crackers since the first of the year - they are good but I’ll never make it through the bag!

I have memberships to both and shop at Costco rather frequently. I’ve purchased a several of the items though not the one supposed the most popular in my state. What I do like at Costco is their Rotisserie chicken for $4.99. We can make a few meals out of that and I can’t buy a whole uncooked chicken for that amount.

This is such a good point. I sometimes like to buy whole chickens to season differently and roast at home…grocery store prices for a whole chicken are often quite high - definitely much more than $4.99 and definitely smaller!

Is that Annie’s mac n cheese?

I shop at Costco a couple time a week and I don’t see Kirkland Prosecco in people’s carts. This list was determined based off of social media hashtags.

Nope, “Goodles” brand.

I haven’t seen that at our stores (Los Angeles) either. A Google search shows that it was introduced at some point last year. Several TikTok and Reddit references to “grab it while you can.”

We have membership (at least for now) at both Sams and Costco. Both offer rotisserie chicken. We’ve not bought it at either… maybe I need to talk my husband into it (we shop together, and he has not been keen on buying it).

The rotisserie chickens are actually really good and they taste the same, whether you go to Costco or Sam’s. It’s cheaper and a heck of a lot more nutritious than a pizza, if you’re not in the mood to cook.

Just curious (you don’t have to answer) - why is he not keen on trying/buying a rotisserie chicken (for $4.99)???

Plus you can do so much more with it. There are just two in our family. It makes great chicken salad or chicken enchiladas. We’ll take what’s left and divide it into containers to freeze for future recipes. It’s $5 that goes a long way.

The Sam’s rotisserie chicken is sweet to me, while the one at Costco is salty. We prefer salty and Costco.

We belong to Sam’s because there is no Costo within 2 hours, and our Sam’s is just 40 minutes away. We originally joined for cheap gas on a road trip. A couple of years ago, we upgraded to a Plus membership. It was about $40 or $50 more. The benefits were getting 2% of what we bought back at the end of the year, free shipping on most items, and early entry. The 2% covered some of the increased cost, but the free shipping is great. We live in a rural area. I shop their sales catalogue every month. If there is something that we are getting low on I just order it. Items arrive as fast as Amazon, if not faster. My husband loves the early entry. If he has an early Doctor’s appointment, he can get in before they open to non-Plus members. I don’t foresee a Costco coming any time soon, so I will just keep my Sam’s membership.

There’s another cool product to consider. If you use the Sam’s cashback Mastercard, that 2% is increased to 5%. You also get 5% back on any gas station. Every few months, we get enough cashback to pay for an entire shopping trip.

That is a very unusual list, based on social media. I would stake a large chunk of money on the #1 item at most Costcos worldwide is chicken .

Dr Google says it’s toilet paper. Number 2 is chicken.
