Please!!!! What do you think my chances are??? THANKS

after talking to teachers.. i have a gut feeling ive got a 777 HL predicted and 666 SL predicted.

PLEASE GOD PLEASE! xD

Why did you submit ACT? It sucks against your SAT. And your SAT M2 score is also very low for engineering, and ECs all depend on passion. All the rest look great! Goodluck :) But why are you chancing yourself NOW? o.O

welll.. i just wanna know... =P
oh and i havent sent my ACT scores
and Math yeah i know... i panicked during the exam ='(... i din get 3 q.s in a row.. which i got later on.. but i messed up in the middle coz of the attack..

but im not too worried coz my math hl transcript is good and im math EE so..

but hey... what are my chances? =P

Where are you from Logan? Your IB Predicted scores are pretty brilliant (if that's what they are and if your school doesn't inflate predicted grades like a lot of schools do). I'd say you have really good shot at CMU/UCLA/UMichigan and you can pretty much count on acceptances from UT-Austin, UIUC,UC Irvine and Virginia Tech.

Harvard is Harvard, Columbia loves being selective so there's no saying ever and Cornell/UC Berkeley have arguably some of the best Engineering programmes in the world after MIT/Caltech/Imperial so that list rounds up places that aren't as likely as the rest.

your SATII math 2 is really low o.o math is one of my WORST subjects and even I got a 790

your SAT I and ACT are pretty low too for an ORM. what state do you live in?

=(

ORM? Im from India

omg.... o_o"

would they accept rush-score-reporting for the January SAT?

thanks paradox!
no.. i don't think they've inflated it.. =P im like this constant question-asker and all.. which fits into this IB profile so yeah! =)

yeah I know.. i consider my top 6 - the 3 ivies, CMU UCB and Imperial as impossible to get into anyway... and ill definitely go to whichever i get into of these 6... so i guess im mentally prepared -_-

and even if i dont get in.. theres always post grad! =D

Haha that's good logan. IB is probably the hardest but the most amazing high school preparatory programme in many ways (I both loved and hated it while I was in it; I'm sure you share my sentiments). Where in India are you from? With your predicted grades, I'm sure you'll get a conditional offer from Imperial. Getting the final grades is upto you. =P

Also, don't worry about your Math IIC score. It'll be seen as an anomaly, placing everything else in context. A Math HL score of 7, plus a solid Math EE (maybe you could mention it somewhere or have your Math teacher/EE advisor write a recommendation?).

I HOPE SO!!!! xD xD

haha yeah ;P

oh im from Mumbai.. ever been there??

Haha, I'm from Bombay too. You're probably from DA then. Good luck!

ORM=overrepresented minority

WHAT? im from JNS.

who are you ?!?!?

Who am I? What exactly do you mean? DA meant Dhirubhai Ambani.

haha i meant who are you? like which skl? are u in the batch of 2010? I know DAIS.. and JNS is Jamnabai Narsee School

I was just confused as to what you meant because of your shocked response. Yeah I know, I know about JNS. I was in Ecole, Batch of 2008 actually.

Thanx for chancing me.
Well, I think u'll easily get into UIUC, UMich, UT Austin
but u can never say for sure at the ivies and ucb
best of luck
