Le Google Translate? Ah oui! Si tu as un mot que tu ne sais pas, je recommanderai wordreference.com . C’est le meuilleur pour les translations, mais tu ne peux pas donner une phrase pour le WordReference. Il a bati par les profs, et les definitions et les idioms sont parfait.

Hey guys, Im currently a student at Choate. If you all have any questions id be happy to answer them! Its great to see you so excited

Let me give you all some advice: within the first month or two, the cool-kid clique will be firmly established. If, at the end of this period, you are not obviously part of that group, then you’re not part of it at all and you never will be. Accept this and don’t worry about it. Focus on your grades and schoolwork, the only things that are actually important; doing so will naturally incline you towards the other intelligent, hard-working students, those who actually have some integrity.

very useful advice, thanks

One month to go…

Glanton well said, although there are definitely some instances where the “cool-kid group” has kicked people out and let others in. Just be yourself, and its almost better to be friends with people from different groups than seclude yourself into a group. Don’t isolate yourself with your “best friends”. Have good friends from multiple groups.

BUMP this thread…CHOATE!!!

There are exceptions, but they are pretty rare. You can hang out with certain people and still be very much on the outside, socially speaking. I know from experience. And even if you manage to make one or two friends amongst the haut monde, that can be its own curse. This I also know from experience.
