Course Conflict/Should I Transfer?

I currently go to a private school and I’m a sophomore.
During freshman year my class schedule was:
AP Human Geography
English 1 Honors
Biology Honors
Algebra 1 Honors
Spanish 2 Regular
Digital Art Regular (1 semester)
Physical Education (AKA gym. 1 semester)
Standard religion (I am forced by the school to take and they dont offer honors)

This year I am currently taking
AP World History
English 2 Honors
Chemistry Honors
Geometry Honors
Spanish 3 Honors
Speech (1semester)
Physical Education (1 semester)
Religion Standard

My schedule for the upcoming Junior year is
AP English
AP Spanish
AP US History
AP European History
Algebra 2 Honors
Physics Regular
Religion Standard

Will taking Physics regular affect my chances if I decide to apply to an ivy league or any top college? In order for me to take Physics Honors I need to be taking Pre Calculus but I’m currently not. I’ve been looking to transfer to a public school so I can take IB classes but I’m scared that for some reason being in a public school will affect my chances when I apply to a top university. I asked my school to take algebra 2 during the summer and they will not let me, but the public school i want to go to does. The public school I want to transfer to is offering me to take Pre Calc next year so I may take Calculus senior year while my current school is offering me algebra 2 honors junior year and pre calc senior year :frowning: . My current high school does offer Marine Biology Honors and Anatomy Honors but I heard that Physics impress colleges more and my school requires me to take it if i want to graduate with their honors diploma. I’ve also heard that the honors diploma my school gives does not matter to colleges. I’m so conflicted right now with whether or not I should transfer

My planned schedule for senior year is
AP English 2
AP Spanish 2
AP Chemistry
AP Macroeconomics (1 semester)
AP Microeconomics (1semester)
AP U.S Government (1 semester)
Pre- Calculus
Religion Standard

It looks like you should transfer to public schools. Public schools don’t have much restrictions on what classes you take. You obviously don’t have to take religion, so you could take an AP elective. I would still recommend taking algebra 2 in the summer before transferring. Precalculus builds on what is learned in algebra 2.
