Will taking courses in my senior year such as AP Chem, electronics, and engineering design help my chances of getting into UVA?
Take a look at UVa’s admissions blog for advice on this matter. Generally, it is recommended that you take the most difficult types of classes available at your high school. That doesn’t mean you have to take every AP class available, but you should take AP-level classes related to the subjects you intend to study in college. Having a high GPA in classes that are not demanding will not get you admitted.
