cramming for the win

woooooooooh

so what’d we all think?

owned… ***

10%atp?

1) There wasn’t a cytoskeleton question
2) I just KNEW there was going to be a question about %efficiency, but decided not to read up on it anyways.
3) There were way more glycolysis questions than necessary.

yes…
dood omg. ***
i fail at life

Cyptphyptoscienceinciencicne,

Jesus Christ, I’m so glad we leave this weird psychobabble to you sociopaths.

Bio 1A and 1B are structured to make you feel like a failure.

So chill out and have some mother****ing candy.

^^ HAHAHA! first thing I did was hit up GBC for the candy section!

diabetes. .

haha I’m a vegetarian so I mostly eat veggies, but for some reason bio 1A has made me crave sweet things lately…especially before lab -__-'

tastybeef: WHY IS BIO 1B SUPPOSED TO MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE A FAILURE-I THOUGHT 1B WOULD BE EASSSSSSSSSSSSSYYYYYYYYY??

wasn’t % efficiency one E, none of the above? lactate acid one. that’s wut me and 2 other ppl i asked got.

i thot it was pretty fair, hope i did well…

was that the question with no sufficient information to answer?

As much as people like to emphasize how the MCB sponsored Bio 1A is set up to be competitive, this just isn’t what the empirical data showed.

Back when campusbuddy was still up, Bio 1A was shown to give out 14% A’s whereas Bio 1B gives out 10% A’s. And the rest of the grade distribution doesn’t indicate that Bio 1B is, in fact, EAAASSSSSSSSSYYYY. I was a Bio 1B UGSI for the past year and I can assure you that getting an A in that class isn’t easy. And no, it doesn’t matter if you take it in the fall or the spring; they are both curved to ~10% A’s. A large part of it depends on your GSI and the people in your discussion since all sections are curved to an 85% mean, which can work for or against you.

And personally, Bio 1B just has boring material. I could not care less about plants and ecology. And if you’re on a pre-health track, you’re just sitting there thinking, who gives a **** about eudicots?

10% A’s…? are u serious…? isn’t it more like 20-25%?according to the syllabus. bio 1a

I’m assuming you’re talking about Bio 1A. Nonetheless, it’s all the same-- the syllabus usually tells you how many kids get a grade of some kind. So, that’s 20-25% A’s of some kind, which includes A+, A, and A-. I was talking about A’s, not including A+'s and A-'s.

ohh lol ok… got it. coolio

lol what was the answer to the last question?

i put photorespiration prevents formation of PGA? i narrowed it down to either that or the carbonic anhydrase choice…

yeah, i said PGA.
