Crazy McGill Reactions

I told my friends that I wasw going to Bucknell and they said it remined them of a butt

ah. Hilarious. [/sarcasm]

haha i wanna get that shirt, but im on a budget cause of the new rez

speaking of which, how much should I expect to be spending during frosh week? all those parties can’t be free, especially when alcohol’s involved.

Im not sure. I was wondering the same thing. On the SSMU Frosh Website it says its 55 dollars for everything, including unlimited beer, but that seems too good to be true.
http://www.ssmu.ca/frosh/

woah, frosh sounds pretty good.
Too bad it took me forever to realize the links were on the monopoly board.

so the total should be $165-$195 depends on if u register early or late!.. is it worth?

science frosh is $65 canadian or $55 US if u register before aug 16

I don’t think they differentiate between science/arts/faculties frosh do they?
And buggzz, I don’t understand where you got the $165-$195 estimate.

It says on the registration sheet:

Postmarked before August 1st: $55
Postmarked after August 1st: $65
On site registration: $65

So basically if you don’t send it before August 1st, don’t bother.

august 1st for science? i thought it was the received by 16th?

Frosh sounds like the best…ever. Granted it will be a bunch of drunk college kids running around Montreal, but I can think of no better way to begin the year. I was a bit nervous about meeting new people, but I’m very friendly when intoxicated. However that could present a problem once the effects begin to wear off, releasing my inner *****.

Only kidding, though. I love how orientation is one day, and then parties. At every other school it seems orientation is a week long. I love Canada.

crazychai, I think there is a general SSMU frosh, which I was talking about. There probably is a seperate science frosh.

I paid my $55CDN for management frosh already. Does that cover SSMU frosh too?

no, there’s a faculty frosh (in your case, management), and a seperate SSMU frosh

so we have to pay 55 $ for each of them?

SSMU frosh is an additional:

Postmarked before August 1st: $55
Postmarked after August 1st: $65
On site registration: $65

anyone know if faculty of engineering has a frosh?

I think all faculties have a frosh, with the exception that education is lumped together with arts.

sorry abt the earlier sum, i misunderstood…

so there are 2 froshes we have to pay for, one is faculty and other is SSMU… $110 …

for SUS, i know we go pick up our bracelets starting aug. 23. what about for ssmu frosh? do we have to pick up anything or just show up somewhere on the 1st day of activities?
