Crock pot/slow cooker recipes for chicken dinners

Any suggestions for crock pot/slow cooker recipes for chicken dinners for two people? Or links to online recipes.

Do a google search for crockpot chicken fajitas. It’s really really good!!

Along ^^^those lines, throw a couple of boneless breasts into the crockpot and cover with one jar of green salsa, Cook, shred and eat! When you do the shredding all the liquid will absorb into the chicken . Chicken tacos!

@basket Do you set on low or high…and for how long?

I’m looking for quick and EZ chix or beef crockpot recipes for my son. He wants to be able to throw a few things in the crockpot in the morning and have dinner ready when he comes home…which can be 10+ hours later.

I’m thinking that for that long, he needs bone-in full chickens or large pieces of beef or pork

I’ve been able to use this recipe cooking on low for longer than the recommended 5-7 hours:

ETA: This is good and easy too:

Balsamic Pork Tenderloin
Author: Robyn Stone | Add a Pinch
Serves: 6-8
Ingredients

1 2-3 pound boneless pork tenderloin
1 cup chicken or vegetable broth
½ cup balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon honey
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
2 cloves garlic, chopped

Instructions

Place pork tenderloin into the insert of your slow cooker. In a 2-cup measuring cup, mix together all remaining ingredients. Pour over pork and set the timer for your slow cooker. (6-8 hours on Low)
Once pork tenderloin has cooked, remove from slow cooker with tongs into a serving dish. Break apart lightly with two forks and then ladle about ¼ – ½ cup of gravy over pork tenderloin.

@mom2collegekids for that long, he would need to put it on low or else the liquid might boil away and burn the meat. Have him try throwing in a big cut of round steak (added bonus they are so cheap!) and a 32 ounce box (or two cans) of beef broth, and cook all day. It will be so tender and tastes like roast beef! My picky eater loves it (she’s not into veggies). Most veggies will boil out for that length of time and be pretty soggy. I would stick with meat. He can do the same thing with a whole chicken, just throw it in for the day with a container of chicken broth.

The recipe above is for setting on low. I would say a minimum of 6 hours. I usually have stuff like this going for more like 8. If it’s on low, I think you can stretch out the time easier.
