CS 160: intro 1 to computer sci hard?

I am registering for my classes this next semester, currently at 16 hours, and I was thinking about trying to squeeze it into my classes. I go to a community college soo the classes are fairly easy. I am an A student, and I work a part time job for 12 hours total on the weekend as a restaurant utility so I have nothing that really interfers with my time. I am also faily decent at time management. The only thing that’s keeping me from registering for the class is not knowing if the course will be too hard. I appreciate any feedback.

CS courses with programming are generally more work than other courses like math or economics or whatever. But how much work and how difficult the course is depends on your specific school, so you may want to ask others who have taken the course.

“Squeezing in” and any computer science/programming class should probably not be used in the same sentence. Most CS and programming classes take a lot of time during your weekly schedule, mainly because of the programs you have to write.

Squeeze in a humanities class, something without a difficult work load.

Humanities (and social studies) courses sometimes have large term projects which can be unexpected time hogs.

Hence the reason for the suggestion of “something without a difficult work load”.

Ask some of your classmates at the school you are attending. That will give you the best feedback on any particular class.
