If you’re an incoming female freshman at Berkeley interested in computer science, (or know anyone who might be) but have no programming experience consider applying to CS KickStart! It is a one week completely free computer science program at Berkeley that introduces women to the field. You get a full week to work on a project in the labs, hear from professors and women in industry, and take a field trip to a tech company (last year we went to Facebook HQ!).
