I attend public high school, but I am also dual-enrolled in college (credits count for high school). I included tuition, books, lab fees, and transportation in my high school expense amount.

My little brother also took a college class between 8th and 9th grade (it will go on his high school transcript as well), and I included this expense for him too.

I don’t think it really makes that much difference in the aid packages- although if say you spent $10,000 for fees/tests/tuition- the finaid office may say " well, they spent $10K this year, and that was just in public school, they can’ certainly spend at least that much for college ";)
