Does anyone know if they notify via email to check the portal?
Yes. You will get an email indicating that your status has changed and to check the portal.

Are decisions actually coming out today for Arts & Sciences???
No one knows- most of us are just guessing based on patterns we have seen in the previous years.
My son just got an interesting email. He applied for computer science. It is in the college of Arts&Sciences. The email was a letter stating that they are aware he applied into Computer Science and as of this summer 2020, Computer Science will move into the Engineering college (CEAS- College of Engineering and Applied Science). It further stated that this move will NOT affect his admission decision this year. Admission this year is still based off of Arts and Science criteria for admission.
They sent the email just to make students aware this was happening.

FYI I just spoke to admissions and he said there would be an early batch of decisions coming out soon (he didn’t say exactly when so speculation around today or Monday is unchanged), however he said that most decisions will be February 1. Not sure if he’s just saying that to avoid a bunch of calls, but wanted to relay this info so if some hear in the next few days and others don’t, don’t be discouraged because he said most will hear on February 1.
I’m guessing any releases today will be closer to 5pm Boulder time, and I truly hope we hear today. The waiting is hard! I just sent one son back to Boulder for his spring semester 4th year and want to send another son next fall!!! Fingers crossed for everyone.

In past years, the results have been on the portal a couple hours before the emails go out (like by now) for first acceptances. Anyone see any changes to their portal yet?

Of course I’m not going to know what timestamp timezone this site uses until I hit post on this message.
Well, I just posted at 3:45pm and I’m in CO and the timestamp (for me) shows 3:45pm so…
I’m in NY and my time stamp says 7:13 pm which would mean a little more than an hour to go.
1 hour 4 minutes - tick, tock, tick tock, tick, tock
But I bet it will affect tuition. COE is about $2000 more than A&S.
Computer Science has always been offered in both School of Engineering and Applied Science and A&S. Guess they decided to remove it from A&S now…
