I forgot to check my blade last night. Our machine was a 1983 wedding gift, and it still works great.

Mine was on the list–went to the recall website, entered the model no and as soon as they confirmed it was recalled, asked for info to send new blade. Easy peasy.

Not so easy peasy for me. Couldn’t get to the recall website. It’s down. It has been down since morning.

I need to check my two units. The recall website doesn’t work for me either.

I was able to get on the website last night around 10 pm Pacific time. Easy to fill out form. Hope blade arrives quickly.

Try the website during an off hour. It’s being bombarded right now. I couldn’t get on around 8:00 PM ET last night but was able to get on at 6:00 AM today.

I finally got through on the phone, only to hear a message that told me they were so busy I should call later, lol.

Here is some info from the web site on the recalled models:

My blades say DLC-10 and my machine says DLC-10C which came up as recalled. Please check!

I have one DLC-8 and one DLC-10. Do we need to send the blades back? I still can’t access the website.

Nope to sending blades back. They’ll just send you new ones.

Don’t lose hope :slight_smile: I just got through. It’s all the blades with rivets. If your blade has rivets, you should register to get a new one shipped to you.

I went to their recall website and filled out the form.

Just checked via the website. Yup, on recall list. It took about 2 minutes to determine the status and then put in the info for a replacement blade.

Anyone have any luck with more than one blade? I have two blades as the old was cracked, hence the newer one, but the new one is also recalled and symptomatic. The site has the option for only one.

Neither of mine are on the recall list. My DLC 7 Pro from 1980 something has rivets but is not on the list. My little mini prep is not riveted… it the little plastic is cracking. Too bad they aren’t replacing THAT.

@thumper1 If it has rivets, it is recalled. DLC 7 pro IS on the list.

Mine has rivets but doesn’t seem to be on the recall list. It’s a DLC 10 Plus from the mid-80s.

According to an article I read all the riveted ones are recalled. I found DLC 7 pro on the list. I don’t see DLC 10 Plus. There was DLC 10P on the list. Is that the same thing?
