I have a feeling the new machines don’t last 30+ years anymore.
Bumping this up…mine just came in the mail.
Have to check to see if it fits the 30 year old cuisinart!
I forgot all about it. Still waiting for mine.
My new blade came today! And it fits.
Got mine last week.
My new blade came today.
I got the one for D3 last week. Whew! I have one more to replace but it was already a replacement blade so I might skip it.
My blade fits just fine…and works. My cuisenart was closer to 35 years old…not twenty. Amazing they are replacing all these blades!
We got ours about three weeks ago, ordered in December. Works fine, but so did the old one.
My replacement blade came today.
@JHS - I have an old DLC-7superpro in my basement that I would like to resurrect and give away. I want to make sure it has a safe blade first. Did you get your replacement blade, and what model number did you use?
I have a DLC7 Pro from about 1982. I got a new blade. I think the pro model was listed.
@thumper1 - No, this is DLC7 Super Pro. JHS posted earlier that they don’t mention that specific model in the dropdown, but it does have the riveted blades. They do mention the Pro.
Try calling them.
Got my new blade yesterday–my Cuisinart is probably 20 years old.
Question: what to do with the old blade? I thought I would take it to the recycling center in our town and put it in the metal pile.
There were directions about getting rid of the old blade IN the box. They suggest putting the old blade in the box and taping it SHUT before tossing.
