Still waiting, but have taken my chances a few times when I had no other viable option. Once I finished each time I examined the blade and it looked perfect. If I had seen anything unusual, I’d have just tossed out the food. I think Cuisinart should be sending status updates from time to time, so we can be assured our names are still on the list and get an estimated replacement date. I’m not impressed by how they’re handling things.

LOL MNDad. Would feel complacent since I got mine fairly early, but the other day my H was using a white bladed kitchen aid knife and the tip broke off - when he was chopping white onions. We thought the machines would rise up, but instead it’s the Blades.
I just got mine. Can’t believe how much sharper it is than my old one. It was only 30 years old, lol.
I bet Cuisinart was surprised by how many of their machines were out there still functioning. But, yes, it would be easy to write a program updating all those who haven’t received a replacement blade.

Nor have I gotten mine. When I called several months ago they told me – June.
If I haven’t received it by July 4, they’ll be getting a piece of my mind.

Funny to see this thread resurrected. I filled out the form in January after seeing this thread and just thought to follow up with a call last week. I got the same response about backlog and June. However, I use my Cuisinart almost every day and never give a thought to the blade, same as I haven’t in the past umpteen years.
I received mine a few weeks ago. I was getting impatient because my blade was actually cracked and missing a rivet. If I hadn’t seen this thread I would have continued using it without ever checking the underside.
I’m happy they replaced the blades but my machine is at least 20 years old and I figure nothing last forever.

I got mine yesterday, too. There was nothing visibly wrong with my old blade. The Cuisinart was a wedding present, which means it is 34 years old.
I received another blade today, #3, which I did not expect! Would anyone like it?

My machine is at least 35 years old.
Our new blade arrived on Monday – nearly six months after submitting the request. Very sharp. Now hoping they might recall our nearly 30-year-old food processor so we can go on for more than another 30 years!
