Current cal poly slo engineering students

Just curious…to help me determine how successful i might be in engineering, would current engineering students post their SAT/ACT math score and indicate their current cal poly year and gpa? I have 680 sat, got accepted, and wonder how I might do.

current students probably dont browse this site…

I have a 720 sat math and did not get accepted to cal poly.

I think a better indicator of success in engineering than the SAT math score is interest; are you passionate about engineering? Do you enjoy building things? Do you love math and physics? Did you really learn, and remember what you learned, in your AP Calc and physics courses? Do you have a basic understanding of electricity and circuits? Are you a member of your high school’s robotics team (if there is one)? Are you an effective team member?

If you can answer yes to most of those questions, and you’re willing to work hard in your classes, you’ll do fine at Cal Poly in engineering.
