Any insight on these schools? My child is a strong multi-sport athlete, good academics despite recent dyslexia diagnosis. Ultimately it’s their decision but my head is swimming trying to compare the pros and cons of each.
Winchendon has fantastic academic support including some extra fee options for 1-1, small group & guided study hall. Of course the teachers are always available to help during conference. The class sizes are really small so that adds to the everyday safety net of support. They give detailed progress reports every 2 weeks as well as allow parents to track grades in real time. Nobody slips through the cracks at Winchendon.
As for the sports it’s a big part of the community, especially lacrosse, hockey, basketball and baseball. Also available is daily strength and conditioning time in the gym as well as golf and ski day trips.
I can’t answer about the other 2 schools as I only have my one son attending Winchendon.
