Hi @mamatodogs Best of luck to your daughter! We didn’t get asked for anything from Case and our family is like yours!
I would think that is a good sign for your daughter and probably not so much of a good sign for mine!
We were asked to fill asset verification form. Since we filled fafsa and css almost a month apart there were some small discrepancies in numbers. Not sure if that means anything in terms of decision … we’ll find out soon:)
Your perception is similar to mine. It could be an advantage at a school struggling with diversity, or it could be a drawback at a school that has no trouble attracting a diverse applicant pool. It all depends.
I think that is a good sign. I do not think FA would bother contacting you for additional information if your child were not being highly considered for the school. it is not worth their time if your child is not getting in. Just my opinion, but hopefully you will hear good things soon!
Case also requested W2s from us. Is that usual process for every application or only for the ones they are considering seriously.
Some applicants last year said they received an email saying they qualified for financial aid even though they were rejected as apparently the two departments are working entirely separately. Seems like a highly inefficient system if true.
Any news, are the EA results coming out today?
As far as I know they should still come out today starting at 8pm EST
@sophieee123 I thought it was 8:30?
It’s 8:30.
Case had emailed to all student and parents 2 days ago :
“We will send Early Action applicants an email providing a link to the secure webpage with their admission status. We will begin sending notifications on Thursday, Dec. 19, beginning at 8:30 p.m. EST.”
Let’s keep this thread for general discussion and post the EA results in the other Thread “CWRU EA tracker 2024” for future reference too
