I am seriously bummed, as she got into Tulane today with nice money. I suspect being Asian doesn’t help at Case. It does help at Tulane.
Should she go ahead and sign up to do a dance audition for the Arts Achievement scholarship? I’m thinking that having the dance department put in a bid for her might help. She’d planned to audition for the college performing group anyway.

I am super stressed now though. Case was supposed to be a reach/low reach and a lot of the schools I am applying to are much more competitive. Just hoping they are looking for different qualities.
@sophiee123 I think there is no reasoning to how these colleges are deciding.
seems like it it purely based on yield.
I have been getting so many emails from EA schools asking me to move to ED2…i think the ED2 option is working out in favor of the colleges, and i think it is borderline unethical to try and scare us into switching.

My son has been accepted at other really good universities, but he is pretty disappointed in this decision because it was a top choice. As his dad I’m wondering what in the heck was holding him back? I just don’t get it.
