Any current case students/parents can comment on the need-based aid? From what ive researched they seem to be pretty stingy with it even though they pledge 100% need met.
Not affiliated, but I can tell you Case uses the CSS Profiles for both domestic and International undergrads. The CSS Profile system in turn is customizable, so they can define “need” however they see fit.

I’ll let others comment on CWRU specifically. But I’ll give the blanket caveat that meeting need is based on the university’s determination of need, not the family’s feeling of how much they want or think they need. The NPC should be run beforehand. Unless there are circumstances where they university says the results will be impacted, like self-employment, the NPC should be close to actual.
