Dance in Europe

I graduated high school, and would like to pursue dance in a school of the arts somewhere in europe. Of course in an english speaking university. Any ideas? somewhere not too expensive.

I have no idea, but others here may want to know whether you want to study ballet or modern. I have a feeling dance training in Europe is pre-professional, and not collegiate, though. Why not enroll in an American college then take a year abroad? Also, I've noticed a few American universities are opening branches in other countries, though not neccessarily Europe. NYU and Bard come to mind.

Pick up a copy of Dance magazine .At the back you will find many listings for dance programs in other countries .

Check into Laban in England. They are primarily modern I think. A girl that danced with my daughter went there for a semester and loved it. Good Luck. Oh and also check Italy they have some schools too.

If I remember correctly, there are schools in Ireland too that have a semester of summer abroad for a dance major.

The Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama has a fantastic dance program, if you can get in.

im thinking of taking modern dance.... a course that would have a mix of different types not just ballet...I was searching for ones in some of US' state universities near california... But any are very unclear about the yearly costs. and Thanks everyone! i shall google all these courses suggestions you have put up.
