I agree about most of the guys not being able to dance. And even at this late date, I still can’t tell a lot of the contestants apart.

I thought Witney did a better job with her poor dancer guy than Alison did with hers.

I’m kind of glad that it’s been less than compelling because I was able to wean myself off and I’m getting to bed earlier.

I thought Witney did a great job with what she had to work with, I didn’t think that dance deserved 5’s. I fast forward through chong. And if that wasn’t a burlesque, why was it scored so high? The pros should have to look into dance styles they’re assigned, even if they’re not familiar with them.

Ugh. Lea Remini is filling in for Erin Andrews as guest host tomorrow night. Oh well, I mute the sound when Erin’s on, I will do it for alea as well.

Yuck. Do not like Leah Remini.

I don’t like guest judges who can not contribute anything meaningful or consistent scoring. In Leah’s defense, that’s most guest judges. I think by now we can all agree that Len has been greatly missed.

Lea is going to host, not judge. She’ll be the one doing the mindless jibber jabber with couples after their routine.

Oh… got it, Miller514. If only I would read the news flashes. Having her take Erin’s place for a night might be an upgrade. Pitbull is guest judging. Don’t think I’ve ever seen him sitting down before.

To my surprise, I didn’t hate Leah and even preferred her over Erin. It seemed like Tom Bergeron enjoyed her as cohost, too.

Pit bull, never heard of him, but liked that his comments were short and to the point.

Average night, it was Sadies best dance so far, Bethany doesn’t seem to have the kind of charisma you look for in a celebrity. Alfonso was okay. Didn’t care for Lea Thompson.

I would also like to see Emma with a good and younger celebrity next season

Leah was a hoot while still maintaining an elegance about her. I didn’t think it was Sadie’s best dance of the season. It lacked fluidity as Bruno mentioned and she looked uncomfortable (with the style of dance) facially. She is still one of my favorites and I liked Julianne’s comment about Mark putting his partner first this season. You may recall she called him out on this in a previous season.

Didn’t like Leah. Lea was just awkward. Loved Alfonso. Sad Jonathan left on a night when he danced so well. Past ready for Michael to go.

I’m thinking Michael will stay with Nascar voting for him. I also never heard of PitBull. Is he a singer? A producer? There doesn’t seem to be a much improvement with quite a few of them - chong, soap opera guy, michael. Derek’s person just seems like such a rough around the edges type that isn’t being smoothed out.

I think it is terrible to modify a dance to suit a child’s sensibilities. I sure hope Sadie doesn’t get past those with more skills. I am tired of her being catered to. What parents would expose their child to a show like this and claim to be super moral??? I want to see dances as they were meant to be danced, some are meant to be sexy.

Val did that with Zendaya as well. There is something creepy and pedophiliac like imo to have an under 18 yo girl dance like a sexpot with a much older male dancer. I’m glad they don’t over sexualize the teenage girls. I think it makes the parents who sign off on it more comfortable.

I only wish there were one to two more guys closer in ability to Alfonso. Unlike the ladies who are closer in ability, It makes watching the men this season quite boring. I am having a hard time connecting with some of the female pros. I would like to see Kym Johnson, Anna Trebinskya (?), and Edyta Sliwinska (?) return to the cast of female pro dancers, especially after Cheryl Burke retires after this season (or so she says).

I can’t believe NASCAR guy, and Chong are still in. They need to change the algorithm so that home votes aren’t weighted so heavily. This season is pretty boring. There’s Alphonso and everyone else. I don’t know why the judges score Sadie so high, she is just okay to me.

The judges are swayed by the multi millionaire duck dynasty moms and pops in the audience.

Why no elimination last week then only one this week? I thought there would be two. It’s moving too slowly. I agree the newer professional dancers don’t connect well with the audience. I don’t look for those older ones to return even tho they brought a lot of personality to the show. I may not be tuning in after this season.

Because she represents the Bristol Palin voting block which watches more reality TV than some other demographics. Viewer ratings sell ads so you have to keep people who have a reality tv watching fan base around to the end. I’m assuming that the NASCAR / Duck Dynasty fans vote as well. This is why a bad dancing NASCAR guy makes it way farther than a bad dancing Science Guy ;)

Can Waltrip please get eliminated now? They should have a rule that after so many weeks you actually have to dance to remain on the show. He was best last week when they stayed clear from all the hokey stuff and just played it straight.

Agreed. Way past time for him to go.
