Dancing With the Stars....here we go again

I can’t believe you didn’t comment on Bruno’s rude remark to Charlotte. What an ass!

I think Carrie Ann is showing so much cleavage trying to up her game because Julianne is on the judge’s panel. Still don’t see the point of 4 judges. Loved Rumor. Not sure why an older gal like Suzanne wears that clunky kind of outfit to dance in. Riker, yikes! Dang and all that. Loved.

@Youdon’tsay, I know, I love Bruno but that was uncalled for. I think DWTS went to great pains to introduce her as a big-bosom airhead and then they got upset that the mostly female audience responded to her with nasty twitter comments. Still, this isn’t the first time Bruno said something he should have apologized for.

Not on yet here on the west coast but it wouldn’t be the first time Bruno has made an inappropriate remark to a woman OR a man. Why should Bruno, a gay man, get more latitude than a straight man-- which he seems to get?

Oh, I don’t think Bruno will get any latitude for that. In fact, the host immediately kind of let him have it.

I am probably one of the few people glad to hear that they were actually being tough on Patti Labelle tonight. She is fun to watch and all of that, but she does not seem to be learning all that much new actual dancing.

This elimination was what I expected last week. Loved Noah’s routine and thought the judges were too hard on Patti.

I thought Patti looked fabulous. That sleek look is what Suzanne needs to try. Nastia is kinda boring. So is Witney’s partner. I’m not in to the face painting costumes that Mark likes to do with any of his partners.

It’s interesting how the show’s “producers” are now allowing the ladies to expose their tattoos. Several seasons ago, they had to keep them covered up. When I wasn’t looking at Rumer’s tattoos I, too, was admiring that amazing body and dancing ability of hers.

Bruno’s comment was extremely cruel. I’m glad he got some push-back. Sorry it’s Len who’s not returning next season and not Bruno.

I felt really badly for Charlotte to go out like that. Her dance was ripped apart and Bruno was really obnoxious. But don’t be surprised when you present yourself as nothing beyond the boobs that you’re treated that way. Doesn’t make it right, but a note to future contestants - make yourself more than a one dimension caricature.

I’m surprised Derek is doing the show this season with his other gig. Doesn’t seem fair to the partner.

I was surprised too! But Nastia is a student at NYU and apparently Derek REALLY wanted to do the show, so the producers “found” her and they both (Derek and Nastia) knew what they were getting into (rehearsing in NYC during the week; taking the red-eye out to LA on Sunday night/Monday for the show). It’s nice to know the show and the experience means that much to him. I don’t think he’s just doing it for the money cause the Radio City gig probably pays VERY well. I hope he does not hurt himself, though. I can only imagine that the Radio City people are kind of nervous about that. Me too, since DH and I are flying up to NYC to see the Spring Spectacular the last weekend it’s set to be open!

Michael Sam’s story dance broke my heart. How sad. And Robert - so touching - so sweet. I would like to get through the rest of this show without anymore tears however.

Robert had me bawling. He dances really well.

Wow, Patty Labelle surprised me! I wasn’t expecting that! Pretty good scores, too.

Love Patty!! And seriously, how can anyone as beautiful as Rumor not see it?

I would have given Noah a ten!

Trying not to look at results ahead.

I liked Willow’s dance best, which surprised me. I never watched Hunger Games. I liked the night’s theme of “most memorable year”. Patti LaBelle is my favorite “older” celebrity dancer of all time; she is entertaining. It’s nice watching Artem and Tony being so caring towards their partners. I know Suzanne was doing an homage to her 3s Company character Chrissy but after last night, I hope she choses to do something more with her hair, it could be so much more flattering.

The rest were not bad. Not sure how to describe Nastia and Derek, tho. The technique is all there but they are lacking in passion, maybe? Riker and Allison wore too much bright red between them, making their routine sort of blurry. Their costuming needed more colors for interest. The elimination wasn’t a surprise.

I sort of expected last night’s elimination. I just think Michael is such a big strong guy but last week I thought a lot of his steps had too much of a girly feel to bode well for him.

I agree about Willow - AMAZING tribute to Hunger Games.

And Noah? Ladies, is he hot or what?

I really likes Suzanne’s dance last night but hope they give her a more elegant look going forward. None of her costumes have been very flattering and she has a lot to work with.

So this is the roster of those who were watching DWTS instead of basketball? I’ll catch up on DWTS later in the week.
