Dark Beige or Light Beige Heels? My own first world problem

Yes…the Cole Haan shoes I linked have that Nike Air technology. They come in a peep toe, and a close toe.

I can’t stand strappy sandals…I find them very uncomfortable. They look nice on other people…but comfort first…and they are not comfortable for me. I live in the chilly winter northwest, and wouldn’t think of wearing a strappy sandal except when the weather is warm.

My DD has a pair of Michael Kors that look like the Cole Haan shoes…but you gotta want to wear a four inch heel to get those!

Leather, close to your skin tone, would be best in my opinion.

Unless you want to go with pantyhose that have a color, then you would match them.

I myself have a pair of dark grey shoes that are my default “go with everything” as they are a good match for my skin tone (nudes and beiges are too light to even try, and brown is usually too brown).

Pumps vs. sandals/slip-ons with more foot showing are a personal choice to me. My parents were older when I was born, so pumps are always classic in my mind.

I bought this pair at the Ferragamo on Rodeo Drive in August - the salesman said that only 200 pairs were made. They are a copy of a shoe they made in the 1950s for Audrey Hepburn (each has a unique number and came in a very ornate golden box with). The scallop on the edge is slightly larger than on the Romantica, but similar, and no contrast trim. The shade of nude is slightly darker than typical…looked perfect with my shade of California tan (which has now faded). After I brought them home, I loved them so much that I tried to find a pair for my D - no luck, not available anywhere in the US. I bought her a pair of J Crew nude suede flats instead :)

They sound lovely, maybe scallops more like on the edge of these Oscar de la Renta pumps.

Deborah, I have that shoe in pink! Love Oscar’s creations. May he RIP.

Ferragamo did a slightly different kind of scalloping, kind of like this:

Ok, I just got suckered into buying a pair of nude pumps! Turns out, my “nudes” were all sandals.

What would you know! I am now looking at beige suede Oscar de la Renta pumps in the ad bar to the left… Arrrgh. Resistance is futile!

“Unless you want to go with pantyhose that have a color, then you would match them.”

I wouldn’t do pantyhose with a color. (Unless you mean tights, but I don’t think you do.). I did a lot of colored pantyhose in the 1980s

Would you do a nice, nude fishnet?

I’m no help… this time of year I’d go with black (pump or strappy sandal, depending on dress style).

DSW…nude platform patent pump…not too high . The name is Kelly and Kate Dorotha pump at $39.95. They come in wide width also. I have 3out of the 4 colors. It is a lighter shade of nude.

&BB glad I have helped the economy by encouraging you to buy a pair of nude pumps you didn’t know you
needed  . I live in a warm climate so no stockings or tights…will be sporting my nude legs with the nude pumps!

Oh, I will need those shoes soon. Going to dinner with the kids - it is restaurant week here in my neck of the woods. :)
