I’ve been with my boyfriend for almost a year and he had offers from almost every school in the country, but he is going to be playing football at MSU in the fall. He says we will stay together and it will work, but i’m curious if anyone has a realistic input on the whole thing. thanks!</p>
<p>It should work out great. Most people don’t change when they go to college, and relationships that start in your teen years generally last very long. </p>
<p>The only tricky part might be the distance; how far is MSU from where you are?</p>

<p>You’re joking, right? That certainly wasn’t my experience or that of my friends.</p>
<p>Does it really matter if I’m joking or not? Not everyone is made the same, and some people will do better than others in different relationships.</p>
<p>My daughter has a couple of good friends who happen to be guys; one is on the track team and one is on the football team. Both are involved in relationships that began before college and both have maintained those relationships. They are currently juniors. So, it is possible. However, you are both young and anything could happen.</p>
