<p>I almost always pay for the dates, and usually insist even when she offers to pay. I don’t insist on paying when she offers all the time, mainly because that would seem weird in itself. I recognize that it is just a social convention because the guy thought to be courting the woman, but I still think it’s obtuse to refer to the guy as ‘cheap’ if he won’t pay more than half.<br>
Granted, in this case, he appears to be paying less than half, but I wonder how many women condemning him on this thread as cheap pay for less than half of the dates.</p>
