I know he’s no David Bowie or even Tom Petty, but I’m feeling pretty sad over reports that David Cassidy is in ICU with organ failure. He was the voice of my junior high years (and my first real crush.)

Poster and jigsaw puzzle. Watched the Partridge Family. Very sad to see this news. Saw him on Dr Phil a few months back discussing his dementia diagnosis and family history. But guess even more has gone wrong for him since.

Oh me too. And I watched “Here Come the Brides” and “The Partridge Family” every week.

And whenever “Tiger Beat” had David or Bobby on the cover (which was practically every week), I saved my money to buy a copy.

I remember the Christmas I got two identical Partridge Family records. I treasured them enough to be happy I had 2 copies.

Fifth grade, all I wanted for my birthday were a Partridge Family album and a pair of the really wide bell bottom jeans like he wore. Sad that he is gone.

He was my first celebrity crush. I just thought he was adorable. He had such a hard life and to end it so sadly… RIP.

Either way, if he is hanging on, he won’t be for long. For his and his family’s sake, I hope this ends sooner rather than later.

This is how pitiful I am: I have “the Greatest Hits of the Partridge Family” on CD and I was listening to it this afternoon. Why can I remember all the words to “Point Me in the Direction of Albuquerque” but I can’t renember how to spell Albuquerque?

Definitely one of my teen heartthrobs. What a hunk he was then. Sad how life goes sometimes.

I had his poster hanging on my bedroom wall. I kissed it every night. I also had not one, but two partridge family albums.

Our local news just reported he was moved to the ICU. I hope he and his family don’t have to suffer too much longer.

I think he had the most beautiful eyes. Bobby and David, first crushes for many of us.
