My apologies. I wasn’t directing my comment at anyone in particular. Just upset that people were taking the cat’s death lightly. I am way too sensitive about this stuff. I am so sorry if I offended anyone.

Now, back to Feisty Cat. How funny. We had a very social, vocal cat for 11 years. Anyone who entered our house was met with a long litany from him about his day. My mother in law, God rest her soul, would hold whole conversations with him. My son loved him more than anything. Although he passed away after a good long life when my son was 8, and he is now 18, he still remembers him. He was a mostly white cat, with the tail of an orange cat. My mother in law used to call him a Cat Put Together by a Committee.

Nice save, Consolation.

That description paints such a vivid picture! I love pet stories.

I have no idea, zoose. Can you call a local animal control center in your community?

Animal Control helps us when we have those problems in our neighborhood. I would be beside myself if it were one of our kitties - we have three.

I have become pretty partial to cats. :)

Holy toledo, Samurai, you have over 2 billion posts!

Glad you added one about your love for animals.

Just a cyber glitch. Not really that many posts, at all. ;)

Something dug up our pet guinea pig. It was 10 degrees F when I buried her and didn’t manage to get far enough down, apparently. I had to hide the evidence, as dd would have freaked.

Now we have large paving stones over the graves to ‘honor’ them (and privately, to protect them).
