Pumpkin Spice Cheerios are coming!
Much too early, @Madison85. There should be rules against talking about pumpkin spice anything in April. It’s spring Oreos time.
Oh my gourd!
Target’s busy test kitchen masterminds have developed 103 new pumpkin spice products.
Here are a few highlights:
Yesterday Starbucks sent me an email with a code I could use to get a Pumpkin Spice Latte ahead of the normal release date.
It’s still over 100 degrees, Starbucks. Keep your PSLs away for a few more months - lol.
You, too Bath and Body Works. Your 20 new pumpkin fragrances will just have to wait.
A dear friend who I adore, texted me this morning to tell me she had already bought two PSL since yesterday! And she will be the first in line to get a gingerbread latte the first of October or whenever the special syrup is in!
My calendar says it’s the first of September and there are still 3 more weeks of summer - I won’t waste one of THOSE days!
I’m excited that pumpkin is back at SBX!
Soy pumpkin chai tea latte. Tastes like eating pumpkin pie. Trust me.
Since this is a college board, I first heard of this at the SBX at my S’s college student center. We had a break in moving in and he went to get something else so I went to get a SBX. The guy behind the counter was all “hey lady, I got something for you, trust me on this” and whipped up this drink. I swear I have 10 extra pounds as a result of all of these I’ve ever had!
Chai tea latte are my favorite. I WILL try your version PG - in OCTOBER!!!
Order it without the water!
It’s so hot, I just want a frosty pina colada. Pumpkins and spice can wait!
Without water? Milk or soy milk only???
I think the soy milk makes it taste more pumpkin-pie-ish, but your call :-). Just make sure it is a pumpkin chai tea latte NOT a pumpkin spice latte. You don’t want any coffee/espresso in there!
I read that pumpkin spice causes constipation.
The pumpkin chai tea latte does sound really good. Any idea how many calories are in it?
A supermarket near me has its Halloween stuff out. Not kidding.
I am convinced that this commercialization of every season, in which the trappings for the next holiday are trotted out earlier and earlier each year, is contributing to a lack of mindfulness, which in turn is linked to anxiety and depression. We’d need fewer psych meds if we’d just live in the season we’re in!
C3Baker … Lalalala, my fingers are in my ears … I can’t hear you …
I’ve seen Halloween stuff at Costco, TJ Maxx, and Michael’s. It’s one thing if its crafts, and you have to prepare early.
Maybe what we need is more major holidays. In Ireland, D1 told me that the Xmas stuff was out in September. Halloween isn’t as big there and there is no Thanksgiving in the fall. If we had one big holiday every 6 weeks or so, maybe the further off ones wouldn’t come creeping so close.
In the beginning of August, our Costco already had a bunch of Halloween stuff for sale - including a huge motion-activated witch that began to cackle and dance when someone walked by! Creepy. Can’t wait until that thing is gone!!!
I am not really into pumpkin and the spice tea latte sounds like a dessert. I’ve had pumpkin bread but it is quite dense.
For me Fall means time for cinnamon tea. I sometimes grind my own spices for tea in the fall. I have to have it with water and a little bit of milk otherwise it becomes too heavy for me.
Seeing mums at the store make me dread that fall is coming because I love summer. Long live long sunny days!
Costco has Christmas stuff out…
So does Hme Depot
