Oddly enough, JMMom, one of my clients is one of the world’s leading experts on marmots and has the word incorporated in his license plate. He can tell you more about marmots than you’d ever want to know. We’d trade: I’d tell a joke, he’d tell me some tidbit about marmots, I’d tell a joke, he’d tell another tidbit about marmots, etc. His wife began to get annoyed long about the 18th day.

You are doing American society a favor, JHS. One teenage girl in particular is likely to be a prominent writer in the years to come. If the wordsmith could polish her sword in amongst the kids, she would.

Well done Dot X. Mice? You should get out and drink a little. Those weren’t mice, those were marmots.

There have to be CC posters with pony tails and tats.

I’m not so sure, cheers. For insomniac fun I try to match 50’s-60s-70s TV roles to each of our veteran verbalists. Invariably I end up having a lot more Darrin Stevens’ than I do Bronson’s.

Having been oh-so-excellent about honoring my pledge to avoid posting in political threads, I may not be included as someone needing to check in here.

I am, however, a resident of the Bay Area, have hair long enough for a ponytail (as do all 3 of the males in my life), and am not a stranger to body piercings. (Haven’t got the tat yet, still looking for the perfect design and placement… and occasion to celebrate!) Still kicking!

I haven’t made it past 1000 posts so I guess I’m in no danger of mummification…yet. (Though if we were to add up my parent forum posts…maybe.) Nevertheless, the op inspired me to put 4 miles on the elliptical trainer today and pledge not to sit down in front of the computer until after 2:00 p.m…lol! (And I threw the Doritos out.)

Oh my Lord, where is that Cafe Thread goat-mudger? I SOOOO want to know which CC posers remind you of Darren Stevens!! (Not TheDad or Mini!! ) I remember you once said you were a George Foreman look-alike. Alumother said she is a Glenn Close look-alike. But 70’s TV characters? My mind hasn’t gone there but I think it wants to!

Dot–is the X a tribute to Malcom or what?

What about audiophile? Isn’t he a candidate for the ole’ boomer pony tail? kluge?

Well sort of. Kinda. Body type, not facially. That would be George Foreman A.B. (After Buffet). "All the fat, none of the lean. The George Foreman grilling machine. "
