Dec 1st CR Version II (Brain functions, photography, father artist...) Discussion

^dont think so. i think i put something along the lines of not all time is spent on crossword puzzles.

can someone elaborate on the questions in the experimental? i dont quite remember the word newton. did it have 8 sentence completions in the beginning?

@Nibblin
I put that sudoku takes away some of the audience for crosswords. I wasn’t really sure it was implying that crosswords take more time than sudoku. I thought it was more like they both are short puzzles you can do and it’s either one or the other.

Kingboy, that’s what I put :3

what did you guys get for the native american? multifaceted and whatever?

carnivalesque for one of them? was the stringent and punctilious one the right answer?

@kingboy12 i agree with you there. I wasnt 100% sure but I could kinda tell

@whatkneww YES can someone please elaborate on some questions that were in the newton passage PLEASE?

for the sudoku question i thought it was explicitly stated how crossword puzzle lovers may be mad but the truth is that people do sudoku puzzles so doesnt that mean that they lose their audience?

the time thing is true as well but i feel as though that is an inference and on the sat everything needs explicit support

for writing what’d you guys get for this one:
“not only because of this but he also thought that it would [whatever]”
or “not only because but also because”
I thought option 2 was really redundant.

not only but also, is the correct construction…just out of curiosity how many no errors did you guys put, i had 3

i had 2. im pretty sure they were right; i triple checked

do u remember which ones they were?

@fishingforgold i also had two. One of them was on the page with the paragraph. Did you have the same?

Wait but look: [Grammarly Handbook | Parallelism With Not Only? But Also Grammar Rules](http://www.grammarly.com/handbook/sentences/parallelism/4/parallelism-with-not-only-but-also/)

“Not only is Matthew going to Egypt for a month, but he’s also going to Greece for a couple of weeks.”

“Not only because [whatever], but he also thought [whatever]”

did you guys get like 3 d’s in a row to start off for error ID?

Yes yiwen. The question with “draw upon” and the ants one i think… (not sure about the ants one, might have been a different one)

@fishing, its “draws from” not “draw on”. is the one about adapting into a book no error?

@satacer what is the error id again? could you elaborate a little more

Draws on is a correct idiomatic expression too

<a href=“Draw on[/url] - definition of draw on[/url] by The Free Dictionary”>Draw on</a&gt - definition of draw on</a&gt by The Free Dictionary;

error ID is after improving the sentences, where you pick a,b,c,d or e-no error

-Draws from isn’t even a proper idiom :O

oh i didn’t count my no-errors :(
