this getting confusing just make a google doc like november and october

I remember one of the writing questions was like “in addition to directing several films that were book adaptations, the director directed “xyz” movie.” I put that the error was “directing” because my reasoning was that it should’ve been “having directed” because of the “were” part before “book adaptations.” If it was “are” instead, I would’ve put NE. Can anyone confirm? I think I got this wrong though.

it was NE

@facsimilecoterie bummer. That one was noticeably harder than the experimental one, which is weird… and is anyone else down to make a google doc?

guys I know i got a math grid-in experimental, but im pretty sure my experimental was not the one with the hoppable number question. the experimental i got was the one with the race track picture and the graphs measuring distance vs. height. pretty sure that was the experimental section.

also i put naivete about language barriers because the passage didnt talk about her wanting to connect with her mother. yes she read her mom’s thing but she genuinely found japanese + her mother’s hobby to be a bore, as evidenced by her tone of voice when responding to her mom’s questions. someone asked about this a while ago, im responding to that.

curve predictions are- very steep for math, normal for reading, and gentle for writing

@facsimilecoterie I’ve taken it twice so far (October and November). Good luck on your score and I hope this is your last try.

@ambitionsquared we are on the same page lol whats your goal?

Guys can someone list out the names of the passages in the experimental critical reading section?

I am having a lot of trouble identifying which one of my sections was experimental, I was so absorbed in the test that I didn’t really notice.

@ratclown i got one about gold.

theres a lot of them.

Was the Mark Twain article the experimental?

@ratclown nope it was real.

What articles wee in the experimental?

i have a concept that stumped me on one question for the critical reading, which made me omit it. When a critical reading passage starts with “Lines - directly state " or Lines - directly give off what impression” do i pick the choice as a person who hasn’t read the entire passage at all, only those lines? or do i answer the question kinda based off the rest of the passage and the overall meaning? The question tht confused me was the one about how passage 1 author believes that procrasination comes when bad memories come back up. the lines themselves said that memories were the reason for procrasination so therefore someone with vivid memory would be more prone to procrasination (however this isnt the meaning or purpose of the passage at all) but there was another choice that fit with the overall meaning of the passage, however not necessarily stated by the lines themselves if they were read alone, without the rest of the passage

hi i took the test today, i had a passage about creativity, a short story about a japanese boy anyone have anything like that? @pearl99 or math about a weird triangle connected with a square and pentagon?

@pearl99 Both the lines and the passage said nothing about how vivid the memories need to be, which is why your answer is wrong. To answer your question, it really depends on the lines they quoted Normally what I do is that I look at only the lines themselves. But if its too vague then I move on the reading the context.

Can someone name all the articles in the experimental for cr?

@facsimilecoterie I’m going to try it for a third time in January to boost my math score for superscore purposes and try to reach 2300 single-sitting for schools that don’t superscore. Congrats on a 2260 before. Regardless of what happens on this test, that score will look great to any school.

what did you guys for the math question with the isololese right triangle and square? answer was like root 6?

Guys in your opinion was the math harder or easier than the October test?
