Deciphering a letter from Stetson.

So, I’ve been getting a gazillion (about 30 or so actually)
letters from colleges
(I’m still a junior, I haven’t applied to any colleges)
But then I got this one from Stetson University in Florida
It reads:
Because of your recent performance on the college prep exam,
The office of admission at Stetson University cordially invites (my name) to become a part of our incoming class of 2012.

Reply Online at [Stetson University](http://www.DareToBeStetson.com)

So I did, and i get this

“Thanks! We appreciate your interest in Stetson University, and we sincerely hope you’ll consider applying.
Your information packet will arrive shortly.”

So…what gives? I get the whole “send me and information packet” thing. But the “join our incoming class of 2012” thing…they can’t actually be serious right? lol
I’m thinking it was just an attention getter.

The incoming class of 2012 would mean the graduating class of 2016. It’s a hoax, obviously all of the “incoming class” are still in high school.

Yes, this.
