eskimogirl, give me your positionnnnnnn??! haha

aren’t u supposed to notify other colleges you applied to if you get accepted to ED colleges?
my friend who got into cornell had to call/email all the colleges she applied to…

yeah and if you dont have too , you should have rescinded ur application to possibly give another student ur spot. kinda selfish.

T.T that means “the another student” could have been me or dawn1029

“uc’s don’t really factor in your major as a part of the acceptance process.”

That is absolutely false. Your major has a huge impact on whether you were accepted or not by UC schools.

I don’t know, somebody else on this thread earlier today actually told me that UCs don’t factor in majors, unless it’s an “impacted” one --e.g., engineering.

so weird
why can’t i even log on to the stupid decision website now?

Yes, major has a great impact on whether or not UCSD will accept you, even if it is not impacted. I know a linguistics major here that got in with a little more than a 3.0. My college counselor (whom had worked at a San Diego CC for 25 years) told me that he could calculate within 90% whether a student could get into UCSD by just knowing their major and GPA.

yes, same here. I have been waiting for the last half an hour trying to figure out if I’m in or not but it’s still loading.
