“On behalf of the faculty, staff and students of the University of California, San Diego, I congratulate you on your admission to Muir College as a major in Sociology!”

There are many people who take SAT course too get these 2100 pluses…some people can’t just afford that. I do not think one test should determine everything. My UC GPA is a decent 4.1 taking 9 AP classes and a health magnet school where I have worked my ass off to get into the 16.6666 %. My school is one of the top 500 schools in America.
I’m also very passionate about what I do in school. I do not do things just to do them, just to put them on my resume. I do things because I LOVE to do them and I love science and research. I spend around 15 plus hours at the lab doing research every week while at school. I enter my projects in competitions and actually do win. Many people are just handed interships, but I had to work to get into my lab. My parents aren’t involved in research or a part of science fair board like many other. I have earned my grand prizes and 1st places by myself. I have done my projects not regurgitated them.
Sure a 2200 is great, but is that really what constitutes success.
Those who succeed are not only smart, they are passionate and daring.

i guess they didn’t recalculate my gpa to UC gpa
