Decisions Are Up!

imacrazyscientist, congrats wut were your stats? you were worried about irvine correct?

i was being sardonic, oh wait looks like that $2250 i spent on SAT workshop was worth it after all LOLOLOOLOLOLOLOL.

by the way, my friend with a 3.75 and 2150 didnt get in

“i hope you’re happy crazyscientist, taking the spot from more deserving people”

Dandaman, that kind of attitude is inappropriate and unnecessary. I realize that some of you are upset over the decisions, but it’s a good idea to cool your jets early before things get out of control later on (A couple of people are already taking their rejection a bit too far).

Accepted!!!

Muir

1950
4.3

no taking it too far would be me defecating in the UCSD admissions office

heard from a friend who got in with a 1980, and 4.04, but he didnt take a lot of honors and AP classes, he took 3 from what i remember

wait, crazyscientist… could you elaborate on the nature of your research involvement? i’m just curious.

ACCEPTED

accepted!!!

okay essays
im really happy now!!!

erc

How do you know if you got accepted to Winter 2008 or Fall 2007? I don’t know which term I got accepted to.

i don’t want to check it… i am so scared
i have sat scores and gpa lower than the ucsd average (i think)
i found a huge mistake in my UC essay after i turned it in… (i don’t think uci and ucsb read it…)
ucsd was 50/50 chance school for me… i would be very disappointed if i didn’t get in…
does anyone know if international relations is a hard major to get into at ucsd?

from what it looks like, most of the people who got in had amazing GPA, some good and some amazing SAT.

but only a couple people with low gpa and high/good sat got in. like qwerty, im not trying to say you didnt deserve it, you had pretty much the same stats as me, just goes to show you something is wacked with the application process…

accepted.

Is Chancellor’s better or regents? I think I got Chancellor’s because it says “5,000” under Chancellor’s Scholarship in the finaid section. Does this mean I got it?

dratinisuny, just check it and get over with it.

It’s not impacted so it would be about the same as applying for biochem or East Asian studies.

dratinisunny, I was going to major in int’l relations too!
However, I got rejected… but not b/c of my major. according to some previous posters, uc’s don’t really factor in your major as a part of the acceptance process.
anyway, I highly encourage you to check whether you got in or not and tell us ASAP!

accepted!

muir college

i didn’t get any scholarship! i’ve messed up on my fafsa!
i thought ucsd school code was 010395 not 001317. turns out, 010395 was university of san diego. @#$@#&@(#@#&

jaynele just go on studnet loans first year. you reapply for aid every year so one year wont kill u esp since ucs are so cheap

actually, jaynele, a TON of my friends (well okay, maybe not a ton, but a significant amount) did the excact same thing as you.
but ucsd is really in the city of LA JOLLA, not san diego :)
