edit:oh right, im a white jewish kid who isnt poor, so i guess that factors in

bruinsjew, we can only hope LA sees differently for us

bruinsjew (lol), w/ your stats I’m super surprised you got rejected… better luck w/ LA, right?
anyway, read this article I found: http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/education/20051218-9999-1m18ucsd.html
made me feel a tad better…

Im so happy after reading that. Cause I maintained pretty good academics during cancer, that has to show something. A 4.0 for my jr year while on chemotherapy and radiation. I hope I get into UCLA and you too sharptooth23. I can’t wait for decisions.

Also, these point systems kill me because of the SATs. I loose lots of points on that.

rejected, w/e i wasnt gonna go there if i was accepted anyways

hmm… the article said:

“‘Each campus weighs and balances things differently,’ she said, adding that if Joo had called the university, an admissions officer could have told him exactly which points he missed.”

So who’s calling to figure out what points they missed? hahah

Not sure if I’ve posted my stats already, but…

Its ok fellow SD rejects, we shall take UC irvine by storm.

well anarkii, according to that UC data packet, UCSB has higher stats regardless what that USnews thing that.

any reason why you would go to irvine over SB? afraid of partying or what?
this could change my decision, enlighten me please

we hopefully shant…i’m still hoping for UCLA…call me crazy I guess …

yeah… looks like it’s irvine for me then. I guess I had my sights set too high what w/ UCSD & UCLA and all…

I’m waiting too…

if not california, to UDubbs at Seattle, I shall go.

I’m going to choose UC Irvine over SB because I don’t really care about partying, my sister goes to UC Irvine, and I got a scholarship there. Plus, UCI still is ranked more highly than UCSB and I think its a more…academic atmosphere.

ACCEPTED to Muir!

I am so happy UCSD is my 2nd choice behind USC.

For those of you that were accepted how do you know if you got accepted for fall or winter. I cant seem to find it.

If it doesn’t mention in your acceptance, you got accepted for fall.
Congrats! :)
