But i got into 6th colllege. I’m not sure if i want to go there now. i heard the dorms were pretty bad and itz located in the middle of nowhere :(

accepted to muir for mechanical engineering!

“If it doesn’t mention in your acceptance, you got accepted for fall.”

that makes no sense…
my rejection says "Welcome to the UCSD admissions information Web site for Fall Quarter 2007 undergraduate applicants. We have carefully reviewed your records and regret that we cannot offer you admission to the University of California, San Diego. The selection process was very difficult this year as we had an excellent pool of competitive applicants. You will receive an official notification shortly. "

how does that mean i am accepted for fall…

Thanks Dawn

dandaman, she said that in response to this question: “For those of you that were accepted how do you know if you got accepted for fall or winter. I cant seem to find it.”

oh, my bad

if it doesn’t mention that you got into winter 2008 it means you got in for fall, but if it says you’re rejected, then you’re rejected…is what dawn1029 meant

I’m accepted.
Undeclared to Eleanor Roosevelt
I’m ELC.

Accepted! ![]()
I’m in Eleanor Roosevelt, major is Human Development (pre). Congrats to everyone else as well!

OK. I’m actually talking to a friend right now who got accepted into winter quarter admissions, and she said it took a while to sink in b/c it doesn’t actually mention the winter part until the very end. but it does mention it in the letter. so if you don’t spot the winter part, then you likely 99% got fall admission.

EDIT: oh yeah, just for reference, this was copied & pasted directly from my friend’s letter:
"On behalf of the faculty, staff and students of the University of California, San Diego, I congratulate you on your admission to Revelle College as a major in Human Biology for Winter Quarter, 2008! UC San Diego is one of the nation’s most outstanding universities, and we look forward to welcoming you to our campus.

Winter Quarter admission is offered to students like yourself, whose admission ranking score falls outside the parameters for our limited number of Fall Quarter places."

just wondering, did a lot of people apply to international relations as a major? b/c that was my major, and I thought it wasn’t as competitive as some other majors… but I guess not…

^ Your major isn’t taken into account when you apply to a UC, unless you apply to an impacted major like engineering

eleanor roosevelt!
