<p>I hate to say this, but I’m essentially already being forced to make a decision with respect to colleges. It’s very complicated, but I have fairly good connections to a few great schools and I really need to single one out. I will leave the names out of this, but what are some of the more compelling factors that made you (HS grads) choose a college?</p>

<p>It’s all about feel. It’s like being home!! You feel like you belong there! If you have a school on your list like that, then make the decision. Will your connection be around for RD?</p>
<p>No… I kind of am trying to hold off until I get EA notifications back (twokids, you know which school that implies), so maybe that will change things, but I highly doubt that I can wait until regular decisions. So I wouldn’t get to see my standings in terms of other schools, although this school with the connection is better than a majority of them and is a reach for me w/o the help.</p>
<p>Yes I do! And if that is your first choice, then hold off. If it is a reach school and you feel it is a good fit for you, then go for it! I am going to TRY and PM you!</p>
<p>Ummm vague much? But yeah, base it on personal fit. Don’t let these connections pressure you to go to any one place.</p>
