They said so during the tour. They lost the competitive majors and business isn’t one of them. If your architecture, engineering, for nursing, that’s a different ballgame.

We don’t have official stats and it is nothing like last year. Plus you can’t compare GPAs anyway.

Ae1231 you think is easier to get in this year than last? Is that what you mean by nothing like last year? I read last year was 38 percent acceptance and they announced to counselors yesterday this year was 45 percent. Hoping that helps some people who really want to be there.

I don’t know. I was just making the point that you can never compare a previous year with the new year. Especially when a school is getting more and more popular. I know nothing about how it will be this year.

I’m not sure where anyone is hearing that Business is not a competitive major at Clemson. It is very competitive. It’s not a closed major… but that’s a whole different thing.

I think I read, yesterday in the thing someone sent that last year the admit rate was 38. So 45 would be helpful.
