Well you can look at anyway you like but the bottom line it is “competitive” if you have the “stats” and can’t get admitted due to xyz. It’s not black and white like your making it. But, we can agree to disagree.

I think it’s super important to learn to be open minded and focus on all different opinions and possible scenarios . You’re on several different forums and you seem to push your own narrative often . You are fortunate that you will be learning from all different people/ professors/ peers in the next years and you will need to be able to see all various views and sides to topics . None of us are ever 100% right 100% of the time . Listen, learn and be welcoming of others and their views

Believe it or not i’m trying to help others here with the knowledge i’ve picked up after researching, prepping for, and completing this college admissions process over a period of the last 3-4 years of my life. And I agree, i’m not right 100% of the time and I do try and admit it when I am wrong. I still think I am correct in this specific case, and i’m sorry you disagree with me on this issue. As you said, people need to see various sides of an issue, so hopefully people will read both sides of the story and determine for themselves what is the “correct” answer.

Does anyone know how the situation is with summer start roommates ? I read where it says you can’t change your summer start roommate for Fall/Winter semester …
I also read that you can’t switch a few days before decisions came out in case summer happend for me.
Edit, i found what I was looking at the other day.
STEM Start can only room with other STEM Start students. This means you won’t be changing roommates or moving out at the end of the summer. Your roommate for Summer and Academic must be in the Summer Start or STEM Start programs as well.

The are the “capped” majors. Meaning they can only take a finite number of students. Business is extremely competitive at Clemson. Ask any Clemson admissions counselor. You seem to get all of your info from the internet without having any real contact or connections to Clemson. I can assure you that many of your takes are wrong.

Now that decisions for Clemson came out has anyone heard when USC will release or have called and found out anything?
I had looked at the thread from last year I think it was…. Feb 28 to about March 9…
Should we start a new thread for those of us waiting on U of SC after being deferred?
