I’m guessing Feb 14
Exactly how we feel!
US as well
So true - anyone’s guess what they are or aren’t looking at .
My daughter sent LOCI directly to her admissions counselor , who we met as part of her second visit to Clemson. We set up a separate meeting a few months after going there for the campus tour . OOS / East Coast, so certainly not around the corner . Responded to both her thank you note after our visit and to her LOCI. Whether all this helps her chances or not is anyone’s guess . But like I told her , she’s done everything she could , and will ultimately end up where she was meant to be . Good Luck to all!
Yes, it actually requires they participate in certain structured supports that all freshman could use.
For some reason my daughter only has one letter of Rec show up for usc I thought she had more sent. 3 show up on Clemson. She was deferred to both
Also what is the determined consensus if edit term and edit majors are gone but withdrawal is still there
I asked about that before D was admitted in November and counselor stated they only allow/require one rec letter. Both of hers show as received in portal but only one is green checked.
There’s not even a green check? Only shows one and says received
We don’t have a green check either, just a weird looking box but it says it was received!
I called because it specifically said on SRAR that Clemson does not allow changes on SRAR once submitted and to call admissions. When I spoke to them because we had to update mid year for another and it updates all, they said the update one sits in a Que and they just don’t view it. And that they don’t look at Senior grades at all
Do you have deferred decisions on those or did you apply regular? I’m trying to see if they are releasing deferred earlier or if they all go out same time
My understanding is they all go out the same time because deferred students get out into the regular decision group.
This is also my understanding.
Anyone have an idea of percentage of students they ultimately accept from deferral? I tried to find specific stats online but couldn’t. I guess every year is different and these southern universities are receiving record numbers of applications. We’re from the northeast and everyone is fleeing South, lol.
I’d love to know…and yes, so many around here want to go South.
I guess it is Feb 15th for Clemson…someone on another thread called to ask (well now that’s an interesting idea!)
I’d love to know about U of SC too, my daughter would not be happy if I called admissions. At this point ahe is like, no more college talk!!
For South Carolina, is there a way to get mid-semester grades for senior year in their hands? Sounds like they are not using them…right?
