Yes! Same here!
do USC and Clemson Admissions share data? for example on waitlists? who accepts spots on waitlists. who accepts offer of admission and who doesnât⊠etc etc
My son just got off the waitlist as well. The message didnât say which college or major. Has to reply by April 15th. Has anyone accepted the offer yet? Do they indicate when you accept which major or merit?
I saw a post on another thread where the personâs son was applying as a business major and got off the waitlist today. When they clicked the link in the portal, it said that the Darla Moore school of business was full and to choose another major. It does seem like maybe you can find out the major before actually submitting the form.
Seriously? What link do you click to see this? Weâre a business major
We have not clicked anything yet, I just saw another poster say that. This is exactly what they said. âOnce he checked off yes, it said DMSB was full and to pick another majorâ.
Just tried it. You donât have to hit submit but if you check the box it says the business school and nursing school is full so you need to change your major. Thatâs a big downside. Thank you for the heads up.
Yup, off the wait-list for my child today tooâŠ

Waitlisted at University of South Carolina
USC is hitting the waitlist hard a month after ED. Very unusual. Looks like they miscalculated their yield. Good luck to all who are holding out hope!
Only downside if youâre hoping for business or nursing these majors are full and they are giving you 2 weeks to decide and not until May 1st. I suspect because they need to fill seats asap.
They actually are giving you until May 1st to put a deposit in. The two weeks (April 15th date) is to accept your acceptance. So there is no harm in accepting your spot while you decide. You have until May 1st to formally put a deposit down.
I donât think thereâs any reason they couldnât have given an extra two weeks except, they wanted to make money on forfeited deposits.
Last CDS I have 2022 - they took just over 1% off their waitlist, so this does seem unusual.
Has anyone gotten their acceptance letter in the mail?
Just in the portal etc
updated in portal. nothing by mail yet.
Has anyone gotten their welcome packet yet?
