Definition of "Ace"

My friends and I have been debating this for a few years now.

When you “ace” a test, are you getting 100, or are you getting an A?

I say A. But I’m not the typical CC-type that gets dissapointed if I get anything below a 96, so any A is awesome to me. :D

If I “aced” a test, I get an 100.

If I do well on a test, it’s an A.

I usually take it to mean getting 100.

“Ace” = 100.
“Extreme frustration” = 97-99.
“Pretty good” = 93-96.
“ARRRGH” = <93.

;)

Ace = like 94 or above. Lower for classes that are hard for me. If I ace a physics test, I probably mean that I got a 60%. For acing a chem test, I can go down to a 90 because that’s actually a middling A in chem (grades are curved).

In my definition, as long as I get an A on a test.

From webster dictionary
4 a : to earn a high grade on (as an examination); especially : to get an A on
b : to perform extremely well in

Chem = 80%+
Everything else = A

95%+ is acing a test, for me. Unless it was a very easy test (or a terribly hard one).

Physics: 105%+
Stat: 105%
English, History, Spanish: A
Computer: 100%

Ace is 100

96% or better.

95 or better for me. In AP chem thats also a 92 or better.

Obviouisly, anything with a 90+ is great because they all put you in the place where if participation and homework count, an A or A+ is likely to happen.

Oh, I forgot to add. In most of my AP classes, as long as I set the curve or do better than anyone else on exams. I’m pretty much acing.

Aced - Above or at 94 below 97
Did well - 90-93
Beasted - 98 - 99
fuc**n pwnt - 100
failed: <85
did ok, have to do better next time - 85 - 90

^ that might be a better system lol

Social Studies/English - getting an A

any other class - 100+

Math/Science:
100 = ace
98-99 = arg
96-97 = good
94-95 = meh
90-93 = Wut?!
90- = I need to cut myself

Art History/English:
94+ = ace
90-93 = good enough
88-89 = meh
88- = noez!!! =(

Elsewhere:
98+ ace
94-97 good
90-93 meh
90- = ugh
