the list goes on. Im actually really disapointed, maybe ill transfer in from wherever i end up. :frowning:
Who else was rejected?

wow that’s surprising…sorry to hear it. you look pretty good from your post. what was your sat? (just curious)

i wouldn’t be that nosy except that i’m a bit nervous about getting in myself.

i didnt send Sat, i sent act.

im really suprised, however…i got over by saying that its probably just because im out of state, or they didnt like my essays.

See, this is the problem: I see that qualified people make it in, and I think, “Oh, wow, I should be in!” And then there are people like childofthefence, who just make the admission process seem like so much uninformed decision-making. Why the heck aren’t you in??? Did you take AP?

O did i take Ap, i took all my school had to offer besides the language AP’s. I stopped at spanish III. I was even the Hons senior science class my junior year. Not to mention being dual enrolled with A’s in physcology, Bussiness Law and Bussines math. I was shocked, so i have come to the conclusion that it was my essay, they probably didn’t like my style. Or i must have done something wrong. Im not really having too much luck. I only got into FSU Honors and SMU so far, still waiting from Bc, Bu, Lehigh, Loyola of maryland, Georgetown and American.

o and i had a two c’s on my transcript. One for honors chem, and the other was one of the spanishs (failed midterm).

there’s more qualified students than spaces at top schools. That’s a fact, plain and simple.

now for the OP

you will get into a good school, and if you still want to go to W&M, try to do as well as you can and send a transfer app. It’s very possible that you will be very happy at where you end up, and never give W&M a second thought after September. Good luck in the rest of your college search and the envelopes coming in April.
